Boy ends with a vowel then a y so add -s to make the plural boys. Let's look at another word. Add the correct suffix to the word box. Box ends with an x so add -es to make the plural boxes. Let's look at the next word. Add the correct suffix to the word silo. Silo ends with an o so add an -s to make the plural silos. Let's look at another word. Add the correct suffix to the word knife. Knife ends with -fe so replace the -fe with a v, and add -es to make the plural knives. Here is the next word. Add the correct suffix to the word potato. Potato ends with an o but is an exception word to the suffix -s rule, so add -es instead to make the plural potatoes. Let's look at the final word! Add the correct suffix to the word buttery.
