sofatutor acquires French learning platform SchoolMouv

Berlin, February 17, 2026 – sofatutor, one of the most comprehensive digital learning platforms in the German-speaking market, today announced the full acquisition of French EdTech company SchoolMouv. The companies plan to work closely together, combining their resources, technology, and market expertise to further accelerate SchoolMouv’s growth in France and jointly build a leading European education company.

SchoolMouv offers a curriculum-aligned online learning platform tailored to the French education system, including videos, structured courses, interactive quizzes, a flashcard product, and AI-powered content generation features. Similar to sofatutor, its business model includes both B2C subscriptions and B2B sales. Founded in 2013 and employing around 40 people, SchoolMouv will continue to operate as an independent brand with its existing management team.
